Tamara is a world-leading practitioner of traditional Egyptian Oriental Dance (Raqs Sharqi). This ancient art form is essentially a fertility ritual in which the dancer serves as a channel for divine energy. The art form has its origins in the Kingdom of Egypt and requires the disciplined skill of isolation, emphasizing complex movements of the torso.
Tamara is a UNESCO-recognized, world-leading Oriental Dance (Raqs Sharqi) dancer who sees herself as a “translator” of the musical composition, making the music visible and tangible for the audience.
This performance is the perfect way to delight and surprise your guests or clients. Suitable for corporate events, weddings, promotions, and parties. Tamara also offers workshops for people who want to learn the beautiful art of Egyptian Oriental Dance (Raqs Sharqi) themselves. This is a workshop that will motivate the team!
